Since I am primarily involved in software and hardware development for the
Atari family of computers & game consoles, users of other equipment will
not find much of interest here. (You're still welcome to browse though!)
For many years, my most important project used to be LaceScan, a combined
hardware + software project giving extended resolutions to any ST (not STe).
Over the years this grew into a fairly advanced system for emulation of
various resolutions, making it possible to run any ST/STe logical resolution
on any ST/STe compatible monitor, using any virtual screen size needed. At
this stage it became meaningful to use it on STe machines too, even without
the physically enhanced resolutions (not possible on STe). In fact one of
my registered users (there were VERY few registrations) did use it on an STe.
Nowdays that project has come to be overshadowed by two other projects:
BetaDOS, my improved MetaDOS implementation, with many new features.
STinG, which is not my own project, but for which I have long developed and
maintained several loadable extension modules and servers. Lately I have
taken over the role of maintainer and administrator of STinG as a whole.
(This development is better explained in my STinG pages.)
Those projects are not specific to any machine, but work equally well on all
systems running TOS or TOS-compatible systems (eg: MagiC).
Most of my project archives can be downloaded here by clicking on the 'File'
entry in the menu frame, except for the archives that relate to STinG. Those
were previously released via Peter Rottengatter's STinG page, but are now to
be found by first clicking on the 'STinG' entry in the menu frame, and then
clicking on the 'File' entry in the new menu that will appear in the menu
frame after the first click. That menu is all STinG related, but you can
get back to my main menu by clicking on the 'Main' entry in the menu frame.
Here you can read some of my personal history.
And here you can check out my system specifications.
