Dear Atari User,
My name is Matthew Bacon alias Cadenza Software. I am a student at Kingston University studying BA Music Technology. I have owned an Atari computer for many years, using it mainly for MIDI & WP.

In 1996 I purchased HiSoft BASIC v2.10 and have since written and released over ten programs into the Public Domain as FREEWARE. These include... Atari Personnel Organizer, AutoClock, Cadenza Address Book, Calc IT, LockOUT, PlayBACK, Print IT and tictactoe (78% Atari Computing Issue 6). More recently I was asked by Joe Connor, of InterActive, to write an Order Form Generator for his shareware support scheme.

Over the past few years, as I am sure you are aware, there has been a decline in commercial companies producing software for the Atari market. This I believe has been both a good and bad thing. While this leaves the Atari user with less choice of software, the companies that have remained are producing some truly superb and exciting products. However, it is becoming increasingly apparent that over the next few years, the role and demand of the public domain programmer to produce good quality and up to date software will be greater than ever before.

Due to the lack feedback from my previous releases, my next project "Web.Wizard", will be released as a commercial program. The suite is still in development and subject to change.

Below I have outlined the proposed "Web.Wizard Suite" (subject to change).

During the last year the Atari platform has seen the emergence of a fantastic Web browser "CAB" now at v2.7 and supporting 90% of all HTML commands. However, my search for a comprehensive HTML editor failed. Thus Web.Wizard was born.

Enclosed is a beta version for your personal use only. I would welcome any ideas and suggestions you may have.

Yours Sincerely,
Matthew Bacon (Cadenza Software)
