Corporal Carrot sat and listened.

"He made us do it," said the little man. He had a surprisingly deep voice. "He used to beat us. Even the alligator. That was all he understood, hitting things with sticks. And he used to take all the money the dog Toby collected and get drunk. And then we ran away and he caught us in the alley and started on Judy and the baby and he fell over and --"

"Who hit him first?" said Carrot.

"All of us!"

"But not very hard," said Carrot. "You're all too small. You didn't kill him. I have a very convincing statement about that. So I went and had another look at him. He'd choked to death. What's this?"

He held up a little leather disc.

"It's a swozzle," said the little policeman. "He used it for the voices. He said ours weren't funny ecomp.sys.atari.8bit "That's the way to do it!" said the one called Judy.

It was stuck in his throat," said Carrot. "I suggest you run away. Just as far as you can."

"We thought we could start a people's co-operative," said the leading gnome.

"You know... experimental drama, street theatre, that sort of thing. Not hitting each other with sticks..."

"You did that for *children*?" said Carrot.

"He said it was a new sort of entertainment. He said it'd catch on."

Carrot stood up, and flicked the swozzle into the rubbish.

"People'll never stand for it," he said. "That's not the way to do it."

A demo group that have survived the transition from ST to Falcon are ACF, who earned their place in history with classic demos like 'Just Buggin'. They are now working on the Falcon, and someone has given them a port on a Web server to create this site.

Antony is a dedicated Atari user who is most famous for his Stos creations, such as the Generic Stos Fixer. The pages contain a lot of information on Stos (he maintains the Stos mailing list), the Falcon, and the projects that he is currently working on.

AEO is a popular American online magazine, produced by a large team of writers headed by editor Travis Guy. There are always vast amounts of news and reviews in each issue, from people that really know their stuff. Frans Keylard maintains the magazine's Web support page. Unfortunately, there hasn't been an issue of AEO for a while now, so the future of the magazine is unclear.

The unofficial Atari Internet pages, maintained by Mark Smith. A good range of FAQs and links are to be found at this site, mixed in with other useful material. The site is highly acclaimed by most Atari comms enthusiasts.

AtariPhile is the excellent bi-monthly magazine from the Falcon FacTT File membership club that has replaced their previous publication. Because the magazine is produced in HTML format, they were able to put it onto the Web aswell. There are a great number of reviews and news items in each issue. Currently issue two is available, and it may well be replaced with issue three by the time you read this.

Originally known as Axxis when they first started out on the ST, Aura are still with us today. They are currently working on the Falcon, using their great skills on that machine as they did on the ST with demos such as 'High Fidelity Dreams'. Information about the group and their productions can be found on their homepage.

This page contains the latest information about the internet-based project to create a WAD compatible Doom clone for the Atari Falcon. The game is making great progress. For all the latest news you must look up this page, which is regularly updated. You can also join the mailing list or download the latest version of the game.

Computer Direct are Canadian Atari specialists, who sell a wide range of Atari products. While their Web site contains lots of information, they could certainly do a better job on presentation. A large section on the site is the full online version of their product guide - they certainly have a good amount of hardware and software.

The CyberSTrider support scheme now accepts registrations for many quality shareware titles, and is run by Denesh Bhabuta. This page contains all the information about the scheme and the software that it supports.

Digi Tallis are a demo and game coding team, who have released the popular under-water action game 'SubAqua' and are now working on a Doom clone. They first made their name in the ST demo coding scene. It's not the most visually stunning homepage ever, but there are some demos to download.

Some new pages put up by Digital Media, the new UK distributors of C-Lab Falcons. Includes sales info on Falcon MkX, Soundpool audio, midi expanders, software etc. Nicely laid out pages but a bit bare as yet.

This site is now slightly infamous among the Atari community, as dear old Edward was the person who wrote to the Atari World team and demanded that he should be allowed to write a Lynx column for the magazine. He also managed to squeeze into the letter a plug for this Web site, which is well put together. A good source of news for Lynx enthusiasts. Designed for Netscape 1.2 and above.

Hensa is the main Internet resource for the higher education community, providing a massive range of software for all micro computers which is even available non-higher education users. It's the place to visit for many great titles, including CyberSTrider and InterActive shareware. Access to this site is only possible between 20:00 and 08:00 GMT.

Although there have been rumours of HiSoft's withdrawal from the Atari platform in the past, they are thankfully still with us, providing a good and comprehensive range of products. Their Web site contains all the information you would expect, but it is heavily laiden with graphics.

The enjoyment factor of your visit to the homepage of Falcon demo coders Impulse will surely depend on your connection speed. Firstly, the page's background image is an outrageous 50k in size, and the main logo is about half that again. The images are worth the wait though, unless you're simply seeking raw information, in which case I recommend you turn images off. The usuals of a demo group site are to be found, amounting to not much more than group information, and in this case, a million and one ways to contact them.

This Jaguar specific page is maintained by ST Format magazine's resident Comms expert Frank Charlton. A news and information page which is a little closer to home than some of the American Jaguar sites. An example of work from a professional Web page designer, which has recently been revamped and improved.

Atari's own Web site now amounts to nothing more than a Jaguar support site, which is hardly surprising. Despite that, it must be said the the Sunnyvale boys have done a good job here. The site is tuned to perfection, with clear layout and a childs-play navigation system. You can obtain all the latest news on new releases and titles under development by all developers. I doubt many Jaguar owners have passed this one by - it's in the top 5% bracket.

Spaced-out farmer Jeff Minter (or the 'Yak' as he's commonly known), is one of the Atari's pioneers in game creation. He has found spare time in between sheep sheering to program such masterpieces as 'Revenge of the Mutant Camels' and more recently 'Llamazap' for the Falcon. Upon connecting to his homepage you are greeted with the message 'Welcome to my Zoo'. I say no more.

Magnetic Interlude is the name given to the union between disk magazines Maggie, DBA Magazine and ST News. These are probably the three most popular Atari disk magazines, but sadly ST News is approaching its final issue, so there will soon only be two titles in the union. Their slowly evolving Web site is maintained by Slimer of DBA Magazine. It has good presentation, if a little short on content as yet.

NPG are one of the many groups who formed especially to write demos for the Falcon. There is a surprising amount of material on their site, including general group information, and a memberlist. There is also a list detailing all productions that they have released.

A good set of pages from mad Swedish coders NoCrew. They have come a long way since their guest screens in Carebears demos, and are working on things like Linux68000 and oAESis, and AES replacement. The pages also contain some zany information about the group, and some mild Swedish humour.

Simon's pages bring a good all-round range of Atari related information, including specialities concerning Linux 68k, the Falcon030, and a lot on the Doom clone 'Bad-Mood', including a link to download the title tune. Another essential for Atari enthusiasts.

Along with Future Publishing's 30-plus other magazines, STF has a support page on one of Britain's leading Internet sites. Large portions of the magazine are available to read online, and you can also email the editorial team (Nick Peers, Frank Charlton, etc).

This site is run by Tony Greenwood, and has recently changed its content slightly, supporting a large number of disk magazines (of course including Tony's own 'Stosser'). In order to be helpful to ST users, no HTML code is used which isn't supported by CAB.

Talented programmer Stuart is responsible for producing quality shareware titles for the Atari. His most famous creations are Triple Yahoo (Yahtzee clone), and the Speed of Light image processor which is the prime choice GIF viewing tool for the ST. Those programs are available for download from the site, and there is Atari Net Locator - Introduction

Introduction

When did you get your first Atari computer?

Back in late 1987. I was on a YTS course at the time, and saved around 20 ukp a week or so from the September to December. Then, the price dropped at the store where I bought it from, called Dowling Computers, so I ended up paying a bit less than normal retail.

How did you get involved with the production of Maggie?

Usenet Newsgroups

The are two possible methods of access to newsgroups from this page. Users of NetScape can use the following links to directly view the newsgroups. Those using other software should see below for an alternative suggestion.

NetScape Links

comp.sys.atari.st
Newsgroup for discussion of general ST related topics.

comp.sys.atari.st.tech
Technical newsgroup for Atari users.

comp.sys.atari.programmer
A group for all programming languages used on the Atari.

comp.sys.atari.advocacy
Strangely enough, a group for arguing with PC owners about the pros and cons of the Atari platform!

comp.sys.atari.announce
Press releases about new products, etc. This group is moderated, so don't think that it'll be a quick route to fame.

demon.ip.support.atari
Demon Internet's Atari support newsgroup.

alt.atari.2600vcs
Those good old Atari consoles are covered here.

comp.sys.atari.8bit
Discussion relating to the classic Atari 800 series machines.

NOTE: It is advised to read the newsgroup's FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) before posting. There is a huge FAQ Index on the Web.

Alternative Method

If you are not using NetScape, you can only send messages to newsgroups using a mail-to-news gateway, such as the Demon dispatch service. The links below will allow you to submit using the Demon gateway.

Don't forget to ask for replies via email if you don't actually have Usenet access.

This is an excellent site from System Solutions, in terms of both presentation and content. SS are the retailers of many of the most popular Atari software and hardware products. Their Web site contains information on all of these products, and is worth a visit even if you have no intention of buying!

Contact: ssolutions@cix.compulink.co.uk

This is a beautifully presented site, although it is rather static and doesn't contain any news or many links. There is a wealth of information on such things as all Atari machines and some employees. You can also obtain logos directly from the site. A rich source of information on the company, but sadly not a lot else.

As you may guess, this page is the official STiK support page. It contains all the information you could possibly need on STiK itself, along with the other clients that are used with it, such as CAB and AntMail. The most important thing to note is that all the software can be downloaded with a few mouse clicks. You can find out the latest developments, and also the addresses of all the authors.

Toad are the largest Atari dealers in the US, and also promote their products here in the UK. The presentation of the site is breathtaking, and details on their products are very comprehensive. Atari Internet FAQ

(Fequently Asked Questions about Atari computers and the Net)

Welcome to our new project to provide a full FAQ to help Atari users get sorted out on the Internet. Our aim is to give answers to the questions that many new Internet users might need to know.

You can help others aswell as yourself by submitting your own questions for inclusion in this FAQ (form at bottom of this page).

'I'm currently using my PC/Apple Mac to access the Net, but I've been told that my Atari is perfectly suitable. Where can I get the software to connect my ST to the Internet?'

STiK (ST internet Kit) is the best connection software available for the Atari. It currently supports the SLIP protocol, but PPP and CSLIP support are planned. To get hold of the software, visit the STiK Stuff Page. You can download STiK itself from there, along with the range of clients available, which include:

  • CAB - A fully-featured graphical Web browser
  • IRC - A simple TOS-based IRC client
  • Telnet - The Telnet program for STiK
  • AntMail - An nice email client supporting POP3

The recommended access provider for Atari users is Zetnet. They fully support their Atari-owning customers, and will even provide you with a STiK dial script, saving you a lot of time and effort.

'How else can I get my Atari on the Net without using a full access provider?'

The large commercial bulletin board CiX (Compulink Information eXchange) supports Atari users. You can use your terminal program to connect, and they offer a buffered connection to most internet services, including Web and ftp. You also get the UK's biggest conferenceing system thrown in too!
Many non-commercial bulletin boards can also give you access to some areas of the Net. 42BBS on UK+(0)1256-895106 is an Atari supporting BBS that supplies free email addresses and access to the Atari Newsgroups - but only if you become a regular and loyal user.

Do I have to upgrade my machine?

Yes and No. You can easily use your ST as it is for Internet connection, providing you don't want to connect at any speed greater than 19,200 bps (bits per second). If you want to go all the way and get a 28,800 bps modem, a small modification to your serial port is required. Incidentally, if you are running at 14,400 or 19,200 bps, then a software patch is recommended. HS-Modem is one such patch, and is available in the UK from CyberSTrider.
Falcon owners have a more advanced serial port, which can handle speeds well in excess of 28,800 bps, so no upgrade is needed.
It isn't really practical to use Internet software on 520 machine, so an upgrade to 1 megabyte is almost essential. Hard drives are another advantage, as you don't have to waste online time while software loads from floppies, and you can use a cache for Web browsing.

'There have been many reviews around for shareware titles which are supported by the CyberSTrider and InterActive schemes. Are these programs available on the Net?'

Almost all the software supported by both of these schemes can be found at the Hensa archive (access only between 8pm and 8aGIF89a {{{_`a]Y__NB@D>36;26;/38-39,29+29!*3 !##'",!)&6!, Hbm=JE "i6IK wl* 9HʅVUd,X2#; Atari Net Locator - FTP Links

FTP Links

Just about everything that ST Format can't fit onto their coverdisk goes into their FTP archive. A good place to go for a good mix of software, from PD games to top shareware applications.

Anonymus login

FTP is certainly the quickest way for users to download files from Hensa, although newcomers may need to get to gripps with the directory system first. The only restrictions are time (8pm - 8am), and you're only allowed 10 logins per night. Those who haven't used the Hensa site before should go for the Web Site, or try subscribing to the Newsletters (see Email links page) to get to grips with things before accessing via FTP.

Username: ftp, Password: (your Email address)

Demon is the biggest British Internet access provider, and they have always supported the Atari. The Atari directory on their FTP site provides a good range of software for download.

Anonymus login

This site is highly acclaimed and is a good place to visit for Atari software. There have been two CD-Roms created from the contents of this FTP archive to date. A well organised directory system is one of this site's many strong points.

Anonymus login

The UK mirror site for the Atari Archive. Updated less frequently than others, but the best for UK users. Other good Atari software can be found in the directory packages/atari. This site runs on a SparcServer with 7 cpus and over 42 Gb of disk space. An archive to be rekoned with!

Anonymus login

Toad are one of the world's biggest Atari re-sellers, and this FTP archive complements their popular Web site. Another UMich mirror can be found here.

'What has Usenet got to offer for Atari users?'

Quite a bit, actually... If you look at the master listing, there are a large number of newsgroups concerned with many different aspects of Atari computing. Many of the groups are not all that great, but the overall best groups are in the comp.sys.atari hierarchy (See our Usenet Page). At present, the only good package for the Atari that supports newsgroups is Oasis.

The Atari Article Archive...

Following Future Publishing's decision to cease publication of ST Format, the Atari is left without a newsstand magazine supporting it. Frank Charlton, STF's Technical Editor for the last 4 years, has set up a new Web site called the Atari Article Archive (or 'A3' for short).

Currently the site contains a good collection of articles from Frank, Andy Curtis and Mac Marsden, with lots of screen shots with the software reviews. This development has come as a bit of a surpise, but will certainly be an invaluable resource for Atari users who used to read STF regularly.

The site is not even restricted to ST Format - Frank is planning to expand A3 to encorporate articles Atari Net Locator - What's New?

Updated Content...

This month is the second update to contain the new FAQ section. A couple of new questions have been added, but we really need you to send us some. Get on it, people!

  • Mugshot. `~.. ` FOOT HTM `FOOT_B HTM `FOOT_R HTM `^HEAD HTM '`

Atari Net Locator Atari's own site still contained such information, but unfortunately they don't even support their old products to that tiny extent. Your best bet is to visit the site of an Atari dealer. The best one to check out is Toad Computers. They are an American company, but I don't know of another dealer that provides so much in the way of specifications on the Web. If you are actually looking to buy an Atari or upgrades, try UK dealers like System Solutions or Titan Designs.

'Won't Web pages look naff on my Atari?'

Due to the sheer versatility of the Crystal Atari Browser, Web pages can look good on any system. CAB is supported in the UK by InterActive.
On the ST, you can choose between Low or Medium resolution, depending on whether colour of resolution is more important to you. A high resolution display (640x400) will give you optimum display on an ST - monochrome graphics, but a clear layout. Using SpeedoGDOS or NVDI you can replace the system font with scalable vector fonts. This looks best in high resolution.
On a Falcon in 256 colour mode and a high resolution, your won't be able to tell that the pages were not being shown on a Windows PC. You can use the GIF images to their full 8-bit potential and make use of vector fonts that will look great in the enhanced resolutions. Another advantage of the Falcon is that you can call other external viewers like 1st Guide or Look 'N See to display JPEG images or play sound files.

    Get it off your chest...

Do you have a burning question that you think may also be relevant to others? If so, send it to us using this form. If we think it is suitable for this FAQ, we'll do the best we can to answer it, and include it in next month's edition.

InterActive Supported Software Scheme

About the scheme

The supported Shareware scheme was started by Joe Connor in 1993 to encourage authors to produce and support English language versions of their software AND to encourage UK users to register 'foreign' software. Recently the scheme was re-launched as InterActive. With currently over 1200 registrations the scheme has established the proven benefits of local support, which include:

  • Key to remove features reserved for registered users available
  • Local telephone, post and Email support
  • Free update service
  • No hassle handling foreign currency
  • Labelled Master disk and registration letter
  • ST-Guide on-line hypertext help (some software)
  • Other software (dependent on disk space)

Registration fees are set to cover the currency handling, stationary, media and postage costs incurred in mailing out master disks and providing support.

Although primarily a UK support scheme everyone is welcome to register via InterActive as an alternative to registering directly with the author(s).

latest InterActive releases...

What is the one thing that you like most about the Atari Falcon?

The sheer versatility and power, particularly when using packages like Expose that can produce similar images to that produced on expensive equipment on Macs and PCs.

Which Atari show/event do you remember stands out most in your mind?

No particular show or event does stand out, but I have enjoyed very much the recent crop of Atari shows since 1993's 'LeST Get Serious' show organised by Compo and the first of many good shows. The Spotlight Show was also a good one for remembrance, as it was here where I met up with people from other diskmags like Power etc. I also enjoyed Symposium '96 at Easter, it was nice to meet the coders behind the fantastic Falcon demo Atari Net Locator - Mugshots Gallery

Richard Karsmakers is probably one of the most interesting and influencial people in this history of the Atari scene. Unfortunately, 'ST NEWS', which was the first ever Atari disk magazine, has now finished. Despite this, Richard assures us the he will be sticking with the Atari! The has supplied many email addresses for the Email Links Page.

This site is the best site for the Atari Jaguar, and contains plenty of information to keep Jaguar owners occupied for ages. There are lists of software/hardware available and under development, screen shots from Jag games, and various technical details. The site also sports a top ten games page and links to other Jaguar related sites.

The western regions of Scotland are now faithfully served s Gallery
Yet another reorganisation of this page, now with the photo thumbnails on the right-hand side instead. Certain email addresses have also been updated.

Contact addresses have added underneath each link in cases where this information is known. The month's new sites are now listed seperately, and each month there will be a 'site of the month' from this list.

Links Pages...

The basis of this site is around the links pages (Web, FTP, Usenet and Email). These pages are obviously constantly updated as and when new information becomes available. It is helpful for users to send us new details for these pages using our Forms.

Other Atari News

ST Format closes...

Due to and continuing lowering in readership levels and an ever-shrinking market for the publication, Future Publishing have decided that the forthcoming issue 86 of STF will be the last. Sadly, 'The World's Best Selling ST Magazine' will be no more after this month. Frank Charlton send a semi-official bulletin to all of the advertisers and supporters to announce what had been rumoured for some while previously.

The team have explored some ways that they could have drastically cut the production cost of the magazine, but concluded that there would be no other realistic way of providing a quality news-stand magazine.

All may not be lost though, due to a new Web site from Frank (see above). Any further queries should be sent to the magazine's editor, Nick Peers.

New magazine to go ahead...

One piece of good news concerning magazine's is that there is to be a new title, 'Atari Computing', will soon be hitting the streets. Mike Kerslake, the man behind the project, is eagerly seeking both editorial and financial support to make the new magazine is a success.

Around 500 copies of the first issue will be printed, at a cover price of around 2.50/3. Of course the magazine will be mail order only, as Mike says '..with newsstand there's too many people taking a bit cut!'. Issue one should be out in September - perhaps for a release at the shows.

Show news update...

ST Format were to be the sponsors of this years Atari shows, but after the decision to close the magazine, the team have had to pull out. Mike Goodman of Goodman International will continue to organised them, but without any additonal sponsorship. The list of exhibitors include:

  • Goodman International
  • Top Byte
  • System Solutions
  • HiSoft - (at present London Only)
  • FaST Club - (at present Birmingham Only)
  • Calamus User Group
  • The Upgrade Shop
  • Titan Designs
  • 16/32 Systems
  • Best Electronics
  • The Console Centre
  • Merlin
  • Falcon FacTT File
  • The Maggie Team

I will be joining the Maggie Team on their stand, and distributing ANL merchandise around the place. Unfortunately, I may only be able to attend the Birmingham show.

Here again is confirmation of the dates and venues...

Saturday 28th September 1996 - Birmingham Motor Cycle Museum, in the Premier Suite.
Sunday 29th September 1996 - Osterley Four Pillars Hotel, Isleworth, Middlesex, in the Kew, Syon and Hampton Suites.

Both shows will run from 10 a.m. through to 5 p.m. Admission prices have now been set at 3.00 for adults and 1.00 for children under 12 (if accompanied by an adult).

For further news updates, visit the Shows '96 Homepage or contact Mike Goodman on 01782 335650.

This month's new sites

A new site from ST Format Technical Editor Frank Charlton, containing articles from past issues of the magazine. After STF has finished publication, the writers want to build on this site so readers can still look up the old articles on the Net. A great idea, and a great site.

We finally see the arrival of the most talked about of new Atari sites - that of Titan Designs. As expected from Titan, nice graphics and lots of information on Titan, Black Scorpion and Gribnif products. As well as this, there is a page for the '96 Atari Shows, and page of links to the best Atari Web sites (naturally including this very one!).

Written by Alexander Clauss from Germany, where most of the good programs are appearing from for Ataris at the moment, CAB allows all Atari users to browse ehe Web. It works on a 1 meg ST, but more memory and a hard drive makes life a lot easier. It comes into its own on a Falcon, where 256 colours gives you the same view as a PC.

Digi Tallis are a demo and game coding team, who have released the popular under-water action game 'SubAqua' and are now working on a Doom clone. They first made their name in the ST demo coding scene. It's not the most visually stunning homepage ever, but there are some demos to download.

Those owning hard drives and wishing to happily install and boot this demo from there will have a great short-coming if they try. The only serious downfall of this demo is that they have gone for the old demo tradition of wiping the FAT and using an executable bootsector, so unfortunately it can only be run from a floppy, even on the Falcon.

Talking of bootsectors, I suppose that is as good a place an any to start the description as it's the first bit of the deGIF87a""DffDDf"Df",I8띁`(di%l[p,ϡkxC|`G,ȤqL:(IIvƶ`wl -̖ߞ6jևd~`c[^Z]UXTWORNQJKHAFS97>8=Y.,4-3_*0(eCG)/k qnЧ ThB E 8QC !fĈF-VtwdG'9J/UcL7e dG3M8DSOA%WTQI.TSQNVUUYnUWaюVVYiᮅV[qeVW]yEW_&VXaƉ!/Xcʑ1OUYeΙAoYgҡQUZi֩aZkڱqfU[m޹F[o'U\;range as it may seem, this demo does in fact have two intros, or actually an intro in two parts, as there isn't any disk access in between. The first basically states how this demo came to be... A few bits of text flash up saying '4 years after Just Buggin, ACF is nearly dead... but then', and it then introduces the 4 members, '...are back as Cream'. Not too much to this part, except those texts and logos, but it serves its purpose as a pre-intro. The new loGIF89a((nnn!,((Ix;Qdih Jp,Zx|סaH,| ШZ fy!m]Bwι˶TMpNEs}l8Jxg\SavVM\<~Q[|bO=_>Ta_;FTXtR-8}fMu7ȸméj9Bs:JP芗BJ9T(mćHE7pT#D ?nK|XrYy)'r@3KA 3*]ʴS;urroundings.

The text is in a nice chunky font, and in the background there are varying patterns, in which the background colour is black, and the coloured areas have been made transparent, so an amazing plasma effect shows through. Using the full potential of the 512 colour STfm palette (must retain compatibility with that good old machine - I've still got two of them!), the plasma is one of the best examples of such an effect that I've seen on the ST.

After dedications, credits and other nonsense, the intro loops, so one must press space to load the main part of the demo. The same old bootsector code retuGIF87a((Ҵ޳""ͅ?R-/OOcGp,((pI8F(di7ip )&#ClE1L,B)J -w5lD%:s httw$eTno }"Zzp{L ~ O,>c[SC ~DZoTqLT #wZ \k ǽpa6Lo:ˮSy}ޜ5Q! Indeed, all of these pictures are fine examples of new work from Agent T, who says that his style has changed since Just Buggin'. I didn't really notice all that much of a difference, but I never was all that arty. The pictures range from ghosty kinda characters to people flying across a landscape on the wings of a dragon (!). Sometimes the scrolltext is also removed to show full 320x200 images. Also there is one picture displayed in overscan mode, and the coder claims to have done the first 'SID-voice in a full-screen', to use his own words. That term 'SID-voice' brings me nicely onto tGIF87a((R-/OO.Wp,((0Ix;&[ dih Jp,Zxna8$@ x<89pZV^v~åIMyVq<P@ A0 `ԸDxJ:r0ŌE40cQ4O#J.Yi#ɚ same place that you left off after choosing a tune - to the very frame!

The tunes on offer are about ten in number, and obviously are from the group's musician Tao. All are up to scratch, and very enjoyable to listen to. The music selector gives you an arrow, which you move down to the piece you want to select. There is a greyscale image next to each tune title, which bursts into colour when it is selected. A nice little touch.

The scrolltext of the demo re-introduces the members, and goes through a brief overview of what they have been doing.
