These are images of Atari 400/800 cartridges. You can use them with XL-it! using the '-nobasic -cart foo.rom' command line options. They also work with Rainbow.

The easiest way to do a dump of a cartridge is with a resident monitor such as OMNIMON. Just install the cart then switch the machine on while holding SELECT. Create a 64 or 128 sector custom .ATR image in APE and type the following into OMNIMON:

8k cart - W 1 A000 64
16k cart - W 1 8000 128

Then strip the 16 byte .ATR header off the file and you have an image of the cartridge.

I'd like to hear from anybody who has any success with duping these onto EEPROM (my current endeavour).
