The Atari-cassetterecorder 410 was
built for the first Atari computers the 400 and 800.
The special thing about this cassetterecorder was that the
second audio-track was reserved for speech and music. The result
was a less data stability but it allowed unique education-programs.
You could learn lections with the computer and a teacher speaking
from the cassette. Unfortunately, the concept was never supported
very much by Atari.
Another disadvantage was the unability to use tape-speeders.
