Description:
Turn your Jaguar into the ultimate amusement arcade with Pinball Fantasies- the greatest pinball simulator ever. This classic game offers four scorchingly addictive tables with the most realistic ball movement you'll ever see in a video game. If you're looking for instant playability, speed and excitement, Pinball Fantasies is the game for you.

Overview:

I got this game for $7.77, so I wasn't expecting too much when I popped it in. It opens up with a cool intro track that is in full stereo(sounds very good). At the main menu there is a very awesome effect that is sorta like Algovision. The graphics are very smooth, colorful, and excellently shaded to show depth on ramps and stuff. Very colorful indeed. There are four tables with different themes. Party Land is an amusement park type setting. Speed Demons is based on cars and racing. Billion Dollar Gameshow is a Price is Right and Wheel of Fortune mixture. Finally, Stones and Bones is an eery setting. I saw a few screenshots of this game before I baught it. The tables looked small in comparison to Ruiner Pinball. Surprisingly enough, there are actually lots more possibilities in Pinball Fantasies. Each table has lots of ramps, targets, bumpers, hidden stuff and complex methods to get points. Each table offers a great deal of variety. Party Land has you flipping the ball into arcades, on roller coasters, on skyrides, and around the loops. Speed Demons lets you take pit stops, drive mile after mile for points, go off roading, shift gears, overtake opponents and more. I could go on and on about the possibilities of this game. Each table has a variety of tunes that are for the most part pretty cool. Each tune matches the table very well. The sound effects are way above average and there is also quite a bit of nicely done voice. This game provides alot of fun for a long time due to the variety in the tables and many possibilities. I think it is a great looking and fun game that tons of people can enjoy. To the categories.

Graphics-8 1/2
Very smooth and colorful. The scrolling is silky smooth. Good overall visuals.
Sound/music-8 1/2
Each track suits the table on which it is located. Sets a mood for the table you play. Full stereo. The effects are very well done and the voicing boosts thing a little higher.
Control-10
No complaints at all here.
Power-8
This game couldn't be done on the 16 bitters. As well at least, too many colors for them. Although this isn't 64-bit gaming, it's so much fun.
Fun Factor-9 1/2
One of the best video pinball games I've ever played. Good variety and playability.
