Primal Rage by Time Warner Interactive and Probe

Type:2D fighter
Players:1 or 2
Characters:7
Procontroller:Much needed

Rating:
Graphics-9
The characters are a bit smaller than the arcade's. I'd say they are around 85% of the size of the arcade's. Lots of cool parallax in most levels, but some lack badly. The colors are good, and the animation seems very near arcade quality.

Sound/music-8 1/2
The music is as good as the arcade's from what I've heard at the arcade. Some of the sounds are missing along with alot of the fatality sound effects.

Control-9
Excellent with a 6-button controller. Some new combos, but alot are missing from the 'cade.

Power-8 1/2
They could have made this the best version of the game, but there you go, 3rd parties just trying to make a quick buck on ya. I don't belive that Probe really put alot of effort into it....if Atari was in charge of it, then they'd minimize the loading which is bad in this one....The longest loading out of *any* Jag CD game....it's a shame.

Fun factor-10
Getting alot of friends together on this is rad! Tug'o war and endurance matches have been added. Makes for a killer party!

Overall-90%
