The popular character makes his gaming debut on the Atari Jaguar with Bubsy, In: Fractured Furry Tales. This game consists of 15 chapters and each one is very challenging and will take some time to defeat. This game is obviously an adventure game as are all Bubsy games. This game is a one or two player game (two players taking turns of course).
The graphics are fairly impressive, but what really makes these graphics impressive are the amazing amount of colors in this version. Every character is extremely detailed with tons of colors. The backrounds in some places are of high quality and in others are just 1D. All in all thet did pretty well with the graphics, nothing revolutionary but not bad.
The music in this game is pretty good. The tunes are upbeat and go with this type of game very well. The effects are fairly good as are the voices. No problems here, once again nothing amazing but certainly not bad at all.
This game plays pretty well, what you would probably expect from a platformer. No major glitches with the control, though its not perfect. All in all, the controls what you would expect from a platformer.
If you are into platformers you may want to look into Bubsy. While it does not take too much advantage of the Jaguars great capabilities it is still a fine platformer. I found this game to be a little more challenging then the Bubsy games on the others systems because you have to on some boards search for the ending of the board, but that is good because it makes this game have a longer replay value then the other Bubsys. Once again if you like platformers this may be worth it, just don't expect anything too revolutuionary.
