JCU Formed

(11/8) A new Jaguar group has been formed which is under the name of Jaguar Community United (JCU). They are taking new members and all members will recieve a newsletter via e-mail and they will make efforts to better things for the Jaguar.

Native Demo Released

A Jaguar Server demo version of Native has been released by the folks at Duranik. On Jaguar Interactive their has been a wealth of discussion about this extremely promising looking game and 4Play's Thunderbird was pretty positive about the demo. Now the big hurdle will be for Duranik to get it published, lets hope they do!

Worms Delayed, IS 2 Cart Order Deadline Looms!

(10/19) Worms has been pushed back again, this time till December. The reasoning for the delay is Telegames does not want to push all their releases too close together. Also, the order deadline for the cartridge version of Iron Soldier 2 is October 31st and the game will be released no later then December 15th. The release will be limited and this version can only be purchased through Telegames.

Zero 5 Hits!

(9/30) Zero 5 is now from Telegames, so Telegames fifth post-Atari release has hit! The Jaguar Extreme Joystick from Dark Knight Games has hit the market. I played the prototype and the review is now up. Also, the Battlesphere count is down to only 4 coding days!

Skyhammer Licensed?

(11/15) It has been posted at Bits O' Fun that Skyhammer has been licensed and will be released down the road. This has not been confirmed though by anyone and details are sketchy. Lets hope this formulates, keep your fingers crossed!!

The OMC Site is up!

(8/2) James Garvin of OMC Games has informed me that their website is now up. It has information regarding a new Jaguar friendly magazine along with info about OMC Games (who are working on developing new Jag games). They have confirmed two of the three games they are working on are planned to touch down on the Jaguar and they have not made a decision the third. The two that are planned to be released on the Jaguar are both RPG Games. They are called The Age of Darkness and Orb of Bengazi. And on an unrelated note, Barry confirmed that he is working on Automaniacs with VD3D. He said he is working on some nifty new vehicles among other things (this is early, ofcourse) and will have new screen shots up soon.

More Jaguar Game Development Possible

(7/20) From what I understand, Virtual Dimensions 3D was present at Jaguar Fest (which I missed unfortunately, but from what I understand was a great success) with three reps and is planning Jaguar development (and Lynx also). I guess they are planning a Club Drive type game called Automaniacs and will work with Dark Knight Games on Defcon 1. They are also working on two Lynx games. Gorf 2000 is also in the works by Krunch. And finally, a company by the name of Let'z Play also has plans for both the Jaguar and Lynx as well!
