Pitfall
Classic. While primitive by today's standards, Pitfall was very "high tech" for the early '80s. As "Pitfall" Harry, you explored 256 screens of jungle looking for treasure, while avoiding alligators, snakes, logs, tar pits, scorpions, etc. The catch was getting the treasure within twenty minutes; impossible if you go through all the screens. So you had to map out the underground caverns, which "warp" Harry three screens to one. Features solid gameplay, good sound effects, and crisp graphics. Pitfall is one of the best games released by Activision, probably the highest praise one can give a VCS game.
