Atari 7800
The Atari 7800 Prosystem represented Atari's attempt to re-enter the videogame
market. Although loved by collectors for its excellent arcade conversions
of classic games, it never really gained the affections of the newer, younger
market. Atari promoted the 7800 pretty well,
for Atari, but it was too late. The 7800 was destined for the Famous Brand
Electronics bargain packs.
