Short description
The PC-adapter is used to connect the DVM to the printer port of a PC. The printer port is not longer accessable with
the connected PC-adapter. If you still need the printer port, you have the possibility to use the PC-interface which has eight additional
switching outputs, or to install an extra I/O-card into your PC.
To supply the DVM from the PC the keyboard is also connected to the adapter.
Because of the very low power consumption of the DVM this is absolutly uncritical.
In the following picture you can see the desribed differences between PC-adapter and PC-interface.
A detailed description of the DVM is also accessable with the similar labeled link on the left side.
It is useful to connect the DVM by an extension cable (9pole SUB-D) at the PC-adapter, because the DVM is
otherwise located on the backside of your PC.
Price and accessory
The ready to use PC-adapter costs 20DM.
A 2 meter 9pole SUB-D cable costs 10DM.
