Sheep In Space

Sheep In Space was a horizontally-scrolling shooter in an approximately Defender-esque mode, featuring an Interstellar Space Sheep that flew between two opposing planet surfaces at the top and bottom of the screen. The aim was to prevent enemies building up charge on a Planet Buster gun, which, if activated, would.. er... bust the planet and precipitate the woolly ovine one into deep space. Players had to cope not only with keeping the planetary peace but also would have to monitor their own hunger status, and find a field and stop to graze if they got too hungry.

The cover artwork is the first Llamasoft piece by the most excellent Steinar Lund, and I still have the original painting back in England, that Steinar gave me for my birthday one year.
