About SIO2PC: SIO2PC is a hardware/software combination package which allows a PC computer to emulate 8 bit Atari disk drives. This allows Atari users to store their files on the PC and put away their old Atari drives. It also has a number of other features too numerous to list in this introductory DOC. SIO2PC is a hobby for me. Users must accept responsibility for use and/or construction of the system. If anyone pays me for services and/or materials related to SIO2PC and doesn't wish to accept responsibility, I will refund the money. Read SIOINSTR.TXT for a short description of operation, and README.TXT for a lengthly description of theory and operation. There are several ways you can obtain the SIO2PC hardware- Build it yourself. My distribution package has instructions. If you would like the latest files and a diagram for building, please send the $10 recommended shareware fee and mention that you would like the diagram and latest software. Get a kit of parts from me and build it. I ask $30 for this. (postpaid) I'll build and test one for you. $40 postpaid. Most of my effort is in the software and as I said, I suggest the modest sum of $10 for a shareware fee. I don't distribute a crippled trial version and my software doesn't hassle you about paying the fee. It's strictly up to you. If you liked it a little bit, buy me a beer! Oh, if you get a kit or complete interface from me I always include the latest software. No shareware fee is expected in addition to the prices listed. I hope you enjoy SIO2PC. I'm proud to have a number of satisfied users. Nick Kennedy 300 South Vancouver Ave. Russellville, AR 72801 501-967-3843 email: NKENNEDY@CSWNET.COM
