However,  in the area where I live,  few others have an Atari.  This is why I have decided to organize a type of national Atari club.  Many people own Ataris,  but may nto have local support.›     The National Atari Club is open to every atari user,  at no cost.  (For now.)  I hope to organize enough members to put out a newsletter,  set up a Q & A reference center,  and national Atari BBS.  (This would have lots of files available for downloading,  a news view feature,  and a couple of message bases.  The primary use will we up/downloading of files,  since I plan to hold chats on the larger information networks,  and it would be very costly to have alot of discussions on the BBS long distance.)›The BBS would be strictly members only.›     This is still in the planning stages,  so dont expect to see a full-fledged national society instantly.  All comments and suggestions are welcome.
