Alternate Reality City & Dungeon maps This disk contains two maps of the City and one map of the Dungeon. The file CITY.MAP is a small map of the entire›city. The files CITY1-4.MAP are a map›that is 4 times as big as CITY.MAP,›done in horizontal strips. The files›DUNG11-4 & DUNG21-2 are the Dungeon›done in the same format as the big City›map. DUNG11-4 is level 1, in four›horizontal strips, and DUNG21-2 are›levels 2-4 done in two horizontal›strips.›› The format of the map symbols needs›some explanation. An arrow going›through a wall can mean either a›one-way wall or an invisible wall. An›"S" going through a wall can mean›either a two-way secret door or an›invisible wall on one side with a›secret door on the other. A wall with›two lines through it means a unlocked›door, and a wall with a box through it›means a locked door. A space that has›a starburst in it means a blink field.›In the Dungeon, sometimes there is a›wall that has a door on one side, and›has a secret door on the other. In this›case, I just notated it as an open›door. Also, somtimes there is an locked›door on one side with a open door on›the other. In that case, I notated it›as a locked door.››The DISPLAY.COM file will let you look›at the maps on the screen, and the›PRINTMAP.COM file will print out the›maps for you.››I didn't mark any of the locations in›the game on the maps, so it won't spoil›the game for people who haven't played›it yet. If you choose to print out the›big maps, be sure to print them›vertically, because they are fairly›large. These maps were created using›Envision. If you're into character›graphics at all, get yourself a copy!›
