1. System Requirements
======================

   ~1GHz processor
   128MB or more RAM
   DirectX 8.0 or newer (using DX7 for graphics, DX8 for input and sound)
   Windows 9X/ME/2000/XP (only tested on XP)

   For full speed with sounds you'll need a 2+ GHz processor.



2. How to run
=============

This version of Project Tempest runs only from command-line.

First, check pt.ini and put in the correct paths for rom directories, etc.

Valid command-line options:

    "-sound"	    Enables sound-emulation
    "-nosound"	    Disables sound-emulation
    "-dsp"	    Enables DSP-emulation if sound disabled
    "-bootrom"	    Boots from Boot ROM
    "-fullscreen"   Enables fullscreen mode
    "-showfps"	    Shows FPS counter on startup
    "-bin ???"	    To load homebrewn games and demos. Give the starting address
		    as a parameter. (-bin 4000 loads at 0x4000).

The ROM name is given as a command-line parameter.
If the given ROM name has no extension, the default extension ".jag" is used.

Configuring joystick:

Change the key_????, with one of the following values:

joypad?_left,
joypad?_right,
joypad?_up,
joypad?_down,
joypad?_button1 - 10

The joypad number can be 1 - 4.
