What Is This:

   This is a patch which fixes the maps in Ultima II.  Many of the
cities and worlds on the non-earth planets use the Earth maps.  See
CHANGES.TXT for more information.


Quick and Dirty Directions:
---------------------------

   1) Copy the entire Ultima II game from the Ultima I-VI CD into a
      directory in your hard drive.

   2) Copy the entire contents of this archive into that same directory.

   3) Run `RENGAL.BAT'

   4) Run `U2PATCH.COM'

   5) You can delete rengal.bat, u2patch.com, u2patch.cpp, changes.txt,
      and readme.txt if you desire.
