And here is the final pic showing the modified 130XE beside a 1200XL for 
comparison, and an original 130XE in the background showing how the case 
differs. The case should be quite durable, I used a product called Plastic 
Weld to piece it together. The stuff is mixed in two parts, much like an 
epoxy, but this stuff actually melts the plastic it is applied to, creating a 
bond much like a 'weld'. It's probably stronger than the original now ;-) I'm 
still working on the lower section, but the entire case is just about 
complete. I will have to make an extension to the keyboard ribbon cable since 
the mobo was moved forward and now the stock cable won't reach. 
Hope the pics are what you envisioned from my description in the post.
