Happy
New Year
Welcome to the first MyAtari issue
of 2001. I hope that you have had an enjoyable and relaxing
Christmas break. I don't know about you, but I certainly
needed it!
Over the Christmas period I have kept
myself busy preparing this issue and improving the functionality
of the online site. For instance many pages have received
facelifts while the Classifieds, Q&A, Reader ideas
and News pages are now fully automated.
Great, but what does this actually
mean? Well, this means that your Atari news, classifieds
and ideas are now posted into the magazine as soon as
you submit them and your questions are now e-mailed
directly to our experts (they no longer sit in my inbox
until I find some free time to sort them out).. The
middle man - that's me - has been, quite literally,
cut out! ;-)
It appears that I was not the only
one to be busy during the Christmas holiday. Thanks
to your continued interest in MyAtari, our hit counter
jumped almost 2,000 hits!! This was no doubt due to the posting
of several last minute articles and a superb festive
cover design by Agent -t- of German demo group, Cream.
Thank you for your continued
support.
At the time of writing, the magazines
hit counter currently stands at . It would be wonderful if the site could
achieve 10,000 hits by the end of January. I therefore
challenge you - the readers of MyAtari - to tell as
many Atari users as possible about the magazine and
ask them to visit us at www.myatari.net
.
Please keep those letter, e-mails,
questions, news snippets and articles coming, because
without your contributions ... you know the score ;-)
Enjoy the issue and see you next month!
