Missed
us?
Welcome to the fifth issue of MyAtari
magazine. May I first apologise for the recent disruptions
to the magazine. The disruptions were due to technical
difficulties experienced by our internet host (their
server went A.W.O.L.) which resulted in MyAtari being
off-line for several weeks. However, we have been reliably
informed that "measures
have been taken to ensure that this unfortunate event
does not occur again".
So, did the team take a well earned
break?
Naaahhh! we took the opportunity to
write more articles, begin reviews of more excellent
Atari products and fine tune the site to make it even
easier to use! Please take the opportunity to have a
good look around the site and let me know what you think!
On a happier note... In the previous issue, I set you the challenge
of helping us to achieve 10,000 hits before the end
of January by telling all your Atari friends about the
magazine. Thanks to your help and hard work, we managed
to smash
that figure by over 1,000 hits. Well done!
Ah! that reminds me... shortly before
the magazine went offline, several new articles were added to the January issue
including Jaguar Story by Rodolphe Czuba and Exploring
algorithmic music by Tim Conrardy.
Finally, I would like to mention that
MyAtari has managed to secure limited quantities of Iron
Soldier, Alien
vs Predator and Ultra Vortek
posters and Jaguar stickers. These items are available to our readers
at amazingly low prices. Supplies are limited so are
available on a first come,
first serve basis. Click here to find out
more.
Please keep those letter, e-mails,
questions, news stories and articles coming our way.
Thank you once again for your support.
Enjoy the issue and see you next month!
