The XEGS was Atari's re-entry in the Video Gaming world. This was Atari's second and last "Computer as a System" and is almost exactly the same specs as the 65XE computer, but since I'm not sure exactly what its specs are, here are the 65XE specs. The Keyboard attachment when plugged in, started up Atari Basic revision C. When the keyboard was not inserted, the XEGS would give you missile command!
The XEGS was a little too late to become
popular in the Nintendo dominated video game world, but was a Entry Level
computer, a Video game system and it was an Atari all in one!
(remember I'm not sure the exact specs
so here are the 65XE specs)
(And if you know the actual specs, send
us an email but some of these are for sure the specs.)
