It will allow you to view text files as well. It will also UNformat text files too. (remove CRs & LFs). _______________________________________ ANSI.LZH 14208 12/11/92 ANSI/ 2.5/ APPLICATION/ MODULE/ Okay, here is a rewrite of my original patched ANSIMOE doc file, including ENTER routines to allow ANSI addition to your modules. It also explains my experience with it on my system. The docs explain some, but not everything, and more detailed files will follow. I will upload another file, with my ANSI/VT52 modified modules for carina 2.5 hopefully within a few days after this. This will successfully give you ANSI, the VT52 codes interfere, unles they are modified, my modified modules will allow invisible to the caller, ANSI/VT52 support. By the way, my modules will actually CLEAR the ANSI screens as well instead of putting that little funny clear screen character on it. _______________________________________ ANSIMOD.LZH 67584 12/11/92 ANSIMOD/ 2.5/ MODULE/ GRAPHICS/ COLOR/ Here are the modified modules to support both ANSI and VT52 color graphics on Carina CBBS systems. I've included a doc file that explains how they work, as well as how to modify them. Since I have not been able to test these for full functionality, let me know how they work, any problems, improvements, etc.. For those who asked about the other Carina stuff I have, there is info on them in the file here. Look for more ANSI upgrades coming available soon, contact me, my address is in the file as well, and I will provide complete information when available. _______________________________________ HAUNTED2.ARC 9159 12/13/92 HAUNTED2/ 2.5/ GAMES/ MODSEC/ Okay, I have been doing the following last night and today, and here is ONE of my results, the next file should be the second one. Haunted House was originally furnished on the Carina II Master Disks to me, and I hope it still works with 2.5. This is the ANSI enhanced version, everything should be identical to both VT522C and ANSI callers, the same exact displays, etc.. If you have any problems let me know. NOTE: Since Vt52 supports only red, green, as far as Carina II manual goes, if you want some FULL ANSI games, let me know. There are two bytes used in my Games Menu, one for ATASCII flag, I can use the other for ANSI flag, and rewrite some very nice full color ANSI games. If anyone has the complete VT52 color codes and they support more than the red and green, let me know, then we can get some good VT52/ANSI color games out. The other VT52 files fixed are: Battleship, should be next file, original author is given credit, ANSI version is considered mine, based on his original. ROBOWAR II, will be Enhanced as well, and will include my FIX to the original source as well. Look for some more coming soon. _______________________________________ BATTLE2.ARC 19328 12/13/92 BATTLE2/ 2.5/ GAMES/ MODSEC/ Here is Version 2.5 of Don Bailey's original Battleship. Version 1.1 was said to be his last, and it supported VT52 graphics. This version, includes the ANSI enhancements that I created to make full use of the ANSIMOE. I ONLY claim copyright on the ANSI enhancements, since they are my original mods to this program. Don Bailey still gets FULL credit on all screens, and the ADMIRAL.BAS program. ADDS ANSI text files for ANSI callers. Will emulate the VT52 color screens. NOTE: I have taken every precaution on ALL my ANSI files to prevent Bleeding of the colors. I do NOT believe it is possible, as every IBM BBS I call, and even the one I run, still has color bleeding, so I guess it's a quirk in the ANSI.SYS and can't be 100% eliminated. _______________________________________ ANSICODE.LZH 6016 12/15/92 ANSICODE/ UTILITY/ MODULE/ CURSOR/ CONTROL/ This is the MOST complete listing of ALL ANSI cursor controls that I can find for implementing ANSI graphics movements on the ANSIMOE programs. It should allow the use of writing programs that make extensive use of the position, locate, etc., on the ATARI, may be applicable to VT52 cursor controls as well. This is a HUGE documentation file and is far better than the ones included with the ANSIMOE Docs, and ST ANSI codes. I would appreciate any implementation in games, etc., sent to me, as the IBM callers seem to appreciate ANSI graphics on the Atari systems, which they say can't display them... _______________________________________ GAMEMENU.LZH 6016 12/18/92 GAMEMENU/ 2.5/ GAMES/ MODULE/ This update GAMEMENU file does the following: Adds ANSI support, with FULL color screens, and will allow flagging of ATASCII and ANSI only files, so if they aren't in either mode, they'll never see the games in the listing. The docs explain how to implement this on your system, it's a great improvement over the standard menu system. Also adds VT52 colors to the screens as well, although not as colorful as the ANSI screens... _______________________________________ CARINA.LZH 1920 12/18/92 CARINA/ 2.5/ SYSTXT/ COLOR/ Here are very colorful versions of the default V52 screens that came with Carina. These are ANSI color screens, and are much more colorful than the V52 versions. I converted the V52 codes to ANSI, converted to ASCII CRLF, ported them over to the IBM, loaded them, improved them, made them much more colorful, adding flashing characters, etc., and using most of the ANSI colors in them, converted them to ATARI EOL, and LZHed them for you. If you use ANSI on your system and wish to use the standard screens supplied, these will make ANSI callers wonder when you gave up the Atari for an IBM!! _______________________________________ PCPNET.ARC 12800 12/27/92 PCPNET/ 2.XX/ UTILITY/ SYSMOD/ This is a PCP Networking caller and log in with docs I wrote a couple of years ago. _______________________________________ CARTOONS.ARC 29326 12/27/92 CARTOONS/ 2.XX/ DATABASE/ DATSEC/ MODSEC/ A online Cartoon showing cartoons. Comes with three cartoons and a program to make more cartoons. Complete docs to put in DATSEC or MODSEC subdirectory. _______________________________________ WAITCALL.LZH 6016 1/6/93 WAITCALL/ 2.5/ MODULE/ AUTO-ANSI/ Okay, after dissecting ad removing the Basic XE IF THEN ELSE ENDIF garbage for determining resolution, like Carina will support 132 or 240 column displays anyway, this should (hopefully) give you ATARI BASIC Auto- ANSI.. For anyone using my modules, replace the WAITCALL with this. Let me know if it works!! What it should do... When you get a connect it will send Press [RETURN] ESC[6n. It will then as usual wait for return to be pressed, if the user is ANSI, their terminal will respond with an ESC code, as soon as it gets ESCape, it pokes 1599,c1, turns on vt52, color, and 80-column mode. This should also allow you to add an ANSI screen here, I don't know if I added it or not. Let me know if it works, if not, tell me so I can fix it. Thanks. _______________________________________ QWK.LZH 18304 1/6/93 QWK/ APPLICATION/ TEXT/ MAIL/ PACKET/ Everything you need to implement QWK mail, complete description of it, plus possible implementations on how to implement it. _______________________________________ ZMODEM.LZH 9088 1/6/93 ZMODEM/ TEXT/ SOURCE/ C-CODE/ Here is the Zmodem docs for Super Zmodem, and the source for Zmodem, UI believe it's in either Turbo Pascal or Turbo C, so here's your chance to get the source code and maybe implement it in an add-on for Carina 2.5, or addition to 3.0. _______________________________________ AUTOANSI.TXT 2432 1/11/93 AUTOANSI/ 2.XX/ ATARI/ BASIC/ This will allow you to install auto ansi, it will work on 2.2 as it has been well tested and should work on any upward versions of waitcall. _______________________________________ ANSI.DOC 5632 1/11/93 ANSI/ 2.XX/ DOC/ SIR_ROZ/ This is a doc file from Sir Roz on how he developed ansimoe in the begining, it also gives ansi code and some examples on how to install the code within the modules. _______________________________________ CALORIE.ARC 5769 4/25/93 CALORIE/ 2.XX/ UTILITY/ DATSEC/ CALORIE.COP is a program to help your users keep track of the calories they use for all of the things they do. With this program, you can easily make multiple PCP net calls, at any baud rate. It uses a modified ICN_NET program, which will also work as a standard network module if it doesn't find the data file needed to call via PCP. The PCP_DIAL editor is built into the PCP_DIAL module. Run it from SysMenu to use the editor. (Necessary to make it work.... You have to set up the numbers of each node you wish PCP_DIAL to dial....) An added feature is it will now allow you network on a non-daily basis. Using the  Ðòéïòéôùº function from the ICN_EDIT module, a number of 1-15 will net every 1-15 days.
