Things I have thought about or might add. You are free to e-mail me with your own ideas or suggestions on what you see here. Keep in mind there are tens of thousands of users of Atari800Win and they (quite often) have conflicting ideas about what is "right". * Artifacting is awful in text modes. It does not look that bad on a real Atari with any kind of decent TV set. I know the concept behind the code is sound, but it may be suffering from an 8-bit palette. Still, 16bit color would simply suck peformance wise on some systems. * Might be a CPU problem introduced sometime around 0.9.7+ codebase. A few games don't work now that did before (Countermeasure 5200) * Implement other keyboard sticks besides keypad. * Make all input actions configurable with keyboard templates. * Drop menus and go with some kind of fancy visual UI. Bloated download, pointless code. But people seem to expect it. * Should probably still look at tackling Antic with asm. It's a mess though. * Some kind of bug in sound start up that occasionally makes it throw a rod. * Get around to doing something serious with the debugger option. * Look at writing my own APE so Atari800Win can read protected disk images. * Chase down the remaining 5200 problems. * Go through and clean up the damn code, especially consolidating into headers
