1.  Installation of the TURBO- FREEZER XL is stuck on easily at the 
parallel bus.  The current supply takes place via the parallel bus 
(with the Atari 600 XL and with older Atari 800 XL) or via the 
soldered on cable to a Joystickport one sticks on.  The Ataris or 
soldering work does not open equal which kind is necessary therefore.
  In such things however additional possibilities can build themselves
experienced user with the appropriate tool.  1,1 sticking on at 
parallels the bus simple the caught cover in the back at the Atari 
remove, which sheet metal tongue with the fingers carefully a little 
bends upward and which Freezer without use of force put in.  The cable
at pin 7 of the Joystickport 2 stick on.  Pin 7 is marked in the 
accompanying design.  


1,2 first start-up

The button of the switch in the Freezer to the plate center push, in 
order to switch the Oldrunner off (also with Freezern without 
Oldrunner necessarily!).  The Atari alone switch on.  If not after the
usual short waiting period the " READY " appears message of the BAS1C,
but suspicious symptoms arise (system crash, dark picture.  Smoke 
development off immediately) and the error looks for (a Freezer 
without Oldrunner EPROM, but with switched on Oldrunner leads to a 
dark picture), is the message switches appeared, simply the red button
of the Freezers presses, so that the Freezer menu appears.  Nothing 
does, is either the Freezer badly put in, the cable not correctly 
attached or the Freezer got broken.  

Subsequently, in the Freezermenue press the space bar.  Thus to the 
BAS1C one decreases/goes back.  It tries out whether the BASIC key 
input accepts if it that does not do, an error is present.  If up to 
this point everything folded, the TURBO- FREEZER XL is operational.  

Note:  The Freezer for any reason should not correctly reference:  The
Freezer for any reason should function not correctly, send this back 
not directly, but send only once a letter with a description of the 
symptoms.  It is impossible due to the 100%igen final test of each 
TURBO- FREEZER XL practical that it is because of the Freezer.  It 
probably is at an installation error or because of the Atari itself, 
and it is better these possibilities by a further inquiry to exclude 
before the Freezer itself for examination is sent in, in order to 
avoid unnecessary waiting periods and costs.
