The odd and even page files were originally meant to be printed on an Atari system with an 80 column printer capable of elite (12cpi) printing combined with offsetting the odd pages by 11 characters so that the resulting text would line up on both sides of the pages and allow a left margin suitable for stapling together a replacable 'booklet'. These files can still be used for this purpose, but you will have to convert the IBM EOL characters back to the Atari one. Or you can try to use MSDOS to print the files out as is. There are only a couple of programmers even more verbose than ICD, still they DO supply some very needed, high tech, exacting, explainations of the ins and outs of SpartaDOS. Please use these text files in anyway you see fit. This project was done for the love of the machine.
