20 nov 1996. This is a modified version of DASM made by Bob Colbert . I got this version from the Aminet archive and modified it to compile under djgpp for MS-DOS. I contacted Matt Dillon, and he gave me permission to put this version on my website for public consumption according to the original rules he stated in the original documentation. Neither Matt Dillon nor I bear any responsability for damages caused by the use or posession of this program. I didn't mark the modifications I made, but in general, I just added the #include statements to main.c and then an extra case in the line parser to handle MS-DOS's CR/LF. One bug that seems to have cropped up that is not in the Amiga binary is as follows: When using the < and > operator to obtain a hi-byte or lo-byte of a 16 bit value, you can not have more than one on a .byte line. For example: .byte d0,d1 would have to be: .byte d0 .byte d1 This is only in the MS-DOS version. I haven't looked into it, but it is a minor inconvenience. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 10 may 1995. This is a modified DASM, made by Olaf 'Rhialto' Seibert . I call it DASM 2.02. For the changes, see the #ifdeffed parts in DASM.DOC. Those labels indicate the modifications and can be set in asm.h. Not defining any of them gets you the original version. I tried to get permission from Matt Dillon, the original author, at dillon@best.com (apparently the internet provider he is running) but I never received a reply. -Olaf. -- HAVE *YOU* EXPORTED A CRYPTO SYSTEM TODAY? --> http://dcs.ex.ac.uk/~aba/x.html --rsa--------------------------------8<------------------------------------- #!/usr/local/bin/perl -s-- export-a-crypto-system sig, RSA in 3 lines PERL: ($k,$n)=@ARGV;$v=$w=1+length$n&~1;$v-=$d*2;$w-=$e*2;$m=unpack(H.$w,$m),$_ =`echo "16dio1[lm*ln%]sz\U$k $m $n\Esnsm[d2%Sa2/d0 PGP key fingerprint: \X/ I'm not weird, I'm differently percepted.
