(Editor's note: This program does not offer all the facilities of the
CHARACTER GENERATION UTILITY but is superb graphically and very easy to
use. It only uses 16K).
This program lets you design your own characters using the joystick
on an 8 x 8 grid. It then works out and displays the DATA for you to
incorporate in your own program.
A flashing marker will show your position on the grid. To fill in a
square simply press the fire button. To erase the square press the
button again.
