| Kayna trudged through the dark forest of snowy    |
| fir trees. Little Kay's legs could hardly carry   |
| her anymore. Finally, they passed the last rows   |
| of trees and reached the vast clearing stretching |
| at the feet of the White Mount.                   |

| Suddenly, Kayna's heart stopped beating in her    |
| chest. She stopped Kay with one hand and took the |
| long sword out of its scabbard with the other one.|
