I think this version *does* do SLIP. I've used it succesfully over a
dialup link. However, there is a better version, ported from a recent
Linux version, which should be available by FTP from gate.demon.co.uk ,
called:
 
n890421.lzh       129064  NOS for the ST based on the linux version

I've no idea on the file size, as the files were only placed there on
