Introducing Gemulator 98 Standard Edition: Apple Macintosh and Atari emulation for Windows

Gemulator 98 is the fifth generation of the Gemulator product. For over 5 years, our customers have used Gemulator to run Atari ST and Apple Macintosh software on their MS-DOS and Windows 3.1 based PCs. Now with Gemulator 98 we offer the world's first 32-bit DirectX based emulator specifically designed to emulate 68000 based computers such as the Apple Macintosh and Atari ST on Windows 95 and Windows NT.

Gemulator 98 is ideal for use at home, at school, or in a corporate environment - anywhere you wish to run both Windows and Macintosh or Windows and Atari environments at the same time.

Gemulator 98 emulates the Mac and Atari in a window on your Windows desktop. Using DirectX, each Mac or Atari window can also be run in full screen mode. Since Gemulator does not "take over" the PC as some emulators do, you can run DOS, Windows, Macintosh, and Atari software simultaneously in separate windows and switch between them at any time.

Running Gemulator is easy. 720K and 1.44M Apple Macintosh and Atari ST disks can be booted and run directly on the PC without conversion. For example, you can boot up an Apple Macintosh System 7 boot disk straight out of the box, as shown in the screen shot below. Gemulator can run Quark, Pagemaker, Word, Excel, and hundreds of other Macintosh programs. Atari users can use operating systems such as TOS 2.06, TOS 1.4, MagiC 5.0 and run all the major Atari applications and utilities including Calamus SL, Pagestream, Word Writer, Data Manager ST, Flash, GFA Basic, Lattice C, Warp 9, and many others.

Gemulator 98 was officially launched on October 11th at a computer show in Dallas, Texas (as pictured below). Be sure to catch us again in person at the MACWORLD Expo in January.

Gemulator 4.8 is ideal for those Atari ST users who wish to run their Atari software on a PC, but don't necessarily need the Macintosh emulation provided by version 5.0. Gemulator 4.8 is an upgrade to Gemulator 4.15 and Gemulator 4.6 and is available immediately. The cost is only $99.95 including the Gemulator ROM card and Atari ST emulation software for use on MS-DOS and Windows 3.1. You can install your own Atari TOS ROMs, or purchase Gemulator 4.8 with TOS ROMs pre-installed for an additional $50. Current owners of Gemulator can upgrade to Gemulator 4.8 for only $29.95.
