Up for it?

Matthew Bacon asks once again, "Are you up for it?!"

Following last month's appeal for Atari readers to join the MyAtari editorial team, I am pleased to say that several readers have stepped forward to take up the challenge. However, we still need further offers of help! Without your support and article contributions, MyAtari might not see its second birthday... it's up to you!

  • Marketing director
The role of the Marketing director will be to actively promote the MyAtari brand across the internet and to build strong relationships with other Atari web sites and companies.
  • News editors (2 positions available)
The role of the News editors will be to regularly search the internet for interesting and original Atari news and gossip and to post it on our site.
  • Online Reviews editors (2 positions available)
The role of the Online Reviews editors will be to regularly review Atari web sites on behalf of MyAtari. Each review should discuss the pros and cons of the site, what makes that particular site unique and why MyAtari readers should visit it!
  • Offline Reviews editors (2 positions available)
The role of the Offline Reviews editors will be to regularly review Atari hardware/software on behalf of MyAtari. The hardware/software reviews may be about anything from a joystick to a piece of Public Domain software - anything goes!
  • Cover disk editor
The role of the Cover disk editor will be to compile a collection of copyright free Atari software (any platform) to be distributed with issues of MyAtari.
  • Games editors (Positions available for all platforms)
The role of the Games editors will be to regularly compile tips and cheats for inclusion in MyAtari as well as answer reader questions regarding Atari games on their chosen platform. The successful candidates will also be asked to contribute reviews of Atari games as regularly as possible.
  • PD software gurus (Positions available for all platforms)
The role of the PD software gurus will be to regularly compile tips about using Atari PD software for inclusion in MyAtari as well as answer reader questions regarding PD software on their chosen platform. The successful candidates will also be asked to contribute reviews of Atari PD software as regularly as possible.
  • Hardware gurus (Positions available for all platforms)
The role of the hardware gurus will be to regularly compile tips about installing and fixing Atari hardware for inclusion in MyAtari as well as answer reader questions regarding hardware on their chosen platform. The successful candidates will also be asked to contribute reviews of Atari hardware as regularly as possible.
  • Online reporters / beta testers (Several positions available)
The role of the Online reporters / beta testers will be to aid the Online Review editors to regularly review Atari web sites as well as beta-test hardware / software received by MyAtari.

SEE YOUR NAME IN PRINT!

If you would be interested in applying for any of the positions above, please send an e-mail to me at matthew@myatari.net stating which position you're interested in and the date you'd be able to start. As a member of the MyAtari team you will see your name in print, receive our exclusive contributors' newsletter as well as the thanks of the online Atari community!!
