Welcome to the June 2002 issue of MyAtari magazine.
Whether you are interested or not, this month
you will not able to avoid the highs and lows
of the 2002 FIFA World
Cup.
The tournament
- which occurs every four years - is this year
being jointly hosted by Korea and Japan. In
fact, as I write this, Korea and Italy are fighting
it out to determine which of them moves onto
the Quarter Finals...
There have already
been several surprises in the tournament including
the exit of France (the current World Cup holders)
Argentina and Portugal. Those of you who enjoy football are no
doubt (like me) glued to either the television
or radio whenever a match is on.
However, those
of you who cannot wait until it is over can
escape by reading the rest of this issue (which
contains no further references of the World
Cup - honest!). Alternatively you could head
over to the all new MyAtari forum at
www.myatari.net/forum/
where you can chat with other like minded Atari
users.
As ever, if you
have any comments or suggestions regarding the
magazine or web site, please get in touch. Talking
of which, please note that the MyAtari team
have changed their e-mail addresses to end with
co.uk, as shown below.
